Divisional Profile
The Orthopaedic Surgery Department hosted the 2011
CMSA Examination. All 4 candidates, Drs G McCollum, C
White, S Bick and D McGuire excelled in both the March
and September examinations with Duncan McGuire being
awarded the Eidelstein Medal by the SAOA for the best
performance of all candidates for the year 2011.
Much of the credit for this excellent performance is
credited to the outstanding teaching from all our Senior
Staff, with special mention given to Teddie Hoffman.
Research output has picked up encouragingly with
significant contributions from all sectors.
The AO Spinal Fellowship was awarded to Dr A Puddu.
